On October 18, 2002, the FLA (Fair Labor Association) approved extended accreditation for Cotecna as an Independent External Monitor (IEM) in the Dominican Republic. Cotecna is now accredited to monitor the full FLA code of conduct in: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay and the USA .
